EXAMINATION CRITERIA/EXEMPTIONS

 


 

Criteria
The Institute Of Chartered Shipbrokers is the professional body for those who wish to make a career in Shipping, Freight Forwarding and International Trade.
The Institutes Qualifying Examinations are held annually in April in the United Kingdom and at Overseas centers to test students in certain general subjects relating to shipping plus a choice on specialist papers.

Exemptions
Candidates with relevant professional or educational qualifications validated by the Institute. Will be able to apply, from all subjects except Shipping practice in Group 1 and the specialists subjects comprising Group 2.

A Bank draft for this amount should be obtained in favor of "The Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers London" and submitted along with the application form to the local branch, not later than the following date of each examination year.

15th January (Since closing date in the United Kingdom is 21st January)
